New Covenant is a Bible teaching, Christ-centered, Spirit-filled church that exists to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the Word of God. We develop and nurture a body of believers to have an authentic relationship with God. We focus on connecting people to their mission through discipleship and service.

Supt. Clarence L. Robbins Jr. was born and raised in Pomona CA to Clarence and Shirley Robbins. He and his family attended the Mt. Sinai COGIC, where Supt. Pleas Thomas made one of the greatest impressions in ministry on him. Clarence knew at a young age he would be involved in ministry. After graduating High School, Clarence attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK.

Upon leaving Oral Roberts, Clarence moved to New Jersey to help in his grandfather’s ministry, the then Elder Curley Guidry, and also to be a coordinator of a Counseling Program for the Paulsboro Police Dept. for 10 years. Supt. Robbins also served as a Minister at Healing Wings Pentecostal Temple COGIC, formerly known as Greater Bryant’s Temple COGIC, in Glassboro NJ. Bishop E. Courtney ordained him a year later under the Pastoral leadership of Elder Curley Guidry. In 2004, Bishop Benjamin J. Ravenel, Sr. appointed Elder Robbins Pastor of Mt. Olive New Born COGIC.
Elder Robbins was one of the founding pastors of the South Jersey Jurisdiction and served as the AIM Chairman for four years and an Administrative Assistant to Bishop Curley Guidry. Elder Robbins experienced God’s greatest favor in 2009 when he married the love of his life Lisa C. Screven. In 2010 Supt. Robbins, with his wife by his side, founded New Covenant COGIC where he serves as pastor. Supt. Robbins has been blessed by God to experience seven years of pastoral leadership. God does miraculous in healing, deliverance, financial breakthroughs in the lives of his members and was given a building mortgage-free. Supt. Robbins serves as the Chief Adjutant to the Prelate of the Eastern Jurisdiction of Pennsylvania, Bishop David M. Screven. He is the Superintendent of the North East District.
Lisa Screven-Robbins is the loving wife of Pastor Clarence L. Robbins, Jr. who serves as Pastor of New Covenant COGIC located in Mullica Hill, NJ.
As the daughter of Bishop David and Mother Billie Screven, Lady Lisa was dedicated as a child back to God for use in His service and the glory of his Kingdom. Lady Lisa is a third-generation member of the Church of God In Christ and had accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an early age. She is a dedicated church worker and has been called to serve the body of Christ. She grew up as an active member of her home church in Harrisburg, Emanuel COGIC, under the leadership of her natural and spiritual father, Bishop David M. Screven. While there she enjoyed being an active leader-servant and served diligently in several positions including, but not limited to, serving as a Youth Church Leader, Sunday School Teacher, Drill Team Coordinator, Assistant Vice President of the Jr. Usher Board, Choir Director of the Youth Mass Choir, and the musician for the Inspirational Choir.
First Lady Lisa Robbins
Devoted to the vision of the ministry of New Covenant, Lady Lisa assists Pastor Clarence in ministering to God’s people to assure that his God-given mandate is carried out. Currently, Lady Lisa performs a variety of duties at New Covenant including, but not limited to serving as, Director of the New Covenant Women’s Department and the Sunday School Superintendent. She also serves as the State President of the Hospitality Department for the Eastern Jurisdiction of Pennsylvania.
An elementary school teacher by profession, Lady Lisa knew at an early age that she had a passion to educate and train young children and wanted to have a positive influence on their development. She has been in the classroom educating the next generation and young children for over 28 years and has successfully assisted students in overcoming the daily challenges they face in life. Lady Lisa completed her undergraduate studies at Millersville University in 1990, where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary. She continued her education at Cabrini College in 2011, where she received a Masters of Education Degree with an Administrative Certification.
Lady Lisa’s favorite scripture is Philippians 3:13-14 which states, “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
